What makes MinterEllisonRuddWatts a game changer?

At MinterEllisonRuddWatts we aspire to be our clients’ best partner.

Our unique culture creates greater collaboration across our firm and ensures we seamlessly service clients with our commercial solutions-based approach.

This approach also encourages a broad career path for our people, with more opportunities to work across multiple practice areas. This means our lawyers develop a breadth of skills that future proof their careers.

We think beyond the law, applying commercial knowledge and innovative thinking to some of New Zealand’s most high-profile transactions, projects and disputes.

As part of our strategy to focus on innovation, MinterEllisonRuddWatts launched the country’s first joint venture to explore artificial intelligence solutions for law in 2017. This bold move represented both a game-changing and a sector-changing shift for a top tier law firm such as ours.

I chose MinterEllisonRuddWatts because I got a really good impression of the people I met who worked there. Everyone seemed really genuine and keen to help out, and actually interested in me.

Leading diversity and valuing inclusion

We are proud of our people and our inclusive culture – and we continue to invest to create an environment where our people thrive.

Our diverse team has created a strong performance culture where everyone is valued for their contribution to the firm’s success.

I think a huge strength of the firm is the diversity here. There is a great mix of people, and it really helps the work we produce and the overall culture.

Firm on the move

Our Auckland team will move into Commercial Bay when the striking new office tower opens later this year.

Never before has a single project been more transformational – combining a world-class commercial space that is close to public transport, offers top quality retail and restaurants, and sits amongst striking urban design and public spaces for all to enjoy.

We have designed our new space to further enhance our team culture and unique approach to delivering the best outcomes for our clients. Our new work environment adopts technology, flexible working and has collaboration at its core across four floors of the tower.

The move reflects our firm’s momentum in the market and it will be great to be in a new, architecturally designed building and located in Auckland’s premier location.
